dplr worked with acclaimed digital artist Erika Zhu to create 12 zodiac wireframe lanterns atop sturdy plinth lightboxes decalled with children’s designs. Our project team managed all set design in collaboration with Feather Edge and George Can Create It, integrated our propriatary solar generators into the bases and set up with solar arrays to ensure continual power to the lanterns over a three week display period.

18 units were installed throughout the CBD over a period of four years, with the final year culminating in the animals displayed on a custom truss tunnel with paper lantern festoon, providing the perfect photo backdrop for visitors.
